Spring Show 2026

After a very windy week, it was a pleasure and surprise to see so many daffodils had survived and were exhibited. Together with other bulbs and flowers plus early vegetables, it was a lovely picture of Spring.  Our RHS horticultural judge was very impressed with our show and remarked that we had many keen good growers.  The floral art section, juniors and Homecraft were all interesting and colourful and many visitors arrived for bargains on bric a brac, books and plant stalls.  Raffle did well as did the refreshments, which easily sold 12 cakes and teas on a busy afternoon.   Plenty of help enabled the show to be set up and dismantled in good time.  Many thanks to all our helpers and cake makers.

The following received trophies and diplomas:

Wilkins Kennedy Cup for the most points awarded for Homecraft - Mandy Sylvester.
